Upload the image, type your text (a name, brand or copyright notice), then set the size, opacity and corner. The watermark is drawn straight onto the picture, so it stays visible wherever the file is shared.

02Can I make the watermark semi-transparent?

Yes. The opacity slider goes from a faint, barely-there overlay to a solid, fully opaque stamp, so you can protect a photo without hiding the subject behind it.

03Where should I place the watermark?

Choose any of the five positions — the four corners or dead center. A corner is discreet and out of the way; the center is hardest to crop out if deterring reuse is the goal.

04Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. PIXLFLW runs entirely in your browser: images are opened, edited and exported locally on your device and are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.

05Is it really free? Are there watermarks or limits?

Yes, completely free — no sign-up, no watermarks and no daily limits. The only practical limit is your browser memory for very large files (up to 20 MB per image).
