What you can do

How to resize an image

Resizing without losing quality
Scaling a photo down is effectively lossless: PIXLFLW resamples with smoothing, so a smaller copy stays clean and sharp. Scaling up cannot invent detail that the camera never captured — moderate enlargements (up to about 2×) hold together, beyond that edges soften. If the goal is a smaller file rather than smaller dimensions, resize first and then set the JPG quality on export, where a live size estimate is shown.
Changing the pixel dimensions of an image
Enter the exact pixel width and height you need — 1080×1080 for a square post, 1200×1200 for a marketplace listing, 1920×1080 for a slide or wallpaper, or a single side like 750 px for a web layout. Lock the aspect ratio to change one side and have the other follow, or unlock it to stretch to an exact frame. The pixel grid is rebuilt at the new size, so the exported file really is those dimensions — not a scaled preview.
Because editing is non-destructive, you can change the numbers as many times as you like — the original pixels are only resampled once, on export.
